Join Cherrelle Douglas, a qualified medical herbalist and workshop facilitator, for a relaxed session exploring the history of herbal medicine, its roots in various global traditions, and the politics surrounding it.
A herb walk at a local park follows the workshop, where you can connect with nature, meet the medicinal plants in bloom at this time of year, and learn to ID them.
The session is open to all: those new to herbalism and those who wish to develop their experience and connection. There will be plenty of space for knowledge sharing.
What to bring:
Your favourite cup or mug for tea
Notebook and pen
Weather-appropriate clothing and footwear for a 1.5-hour gentle park walk
Curiosity and an open mind
